Those of us who are engaged in a satisfying challenging career that fit in with our goals and aspirations lead filling productive and happy lives. Those that are stuck in dead end jobs and feel they are not suited for their position can feel  incredible amounts of stress and anxiety.

Changes in organisations and our personal lives mean that the notion of set career paths have very little meaning. Careers now days can be short and uncertain. The notion of full-time employment with an employer is only one of many options. Now days there are career options that involve virtual work, contractual arrangements, consultative and interim arrangements. Part-time, flexi-time and job sharing options can also play a part in career choices.

Choosing the right career or changing a career can be fraught with both excitement and difficulty.
